![]() ![]() During a loot session, if your main character collected ammo, you can swap a gun of your mate onto your main character, then give the item back, this reloads/replenishes the gun. Most metallic weapon NEVER break, unlike claims made on Youtube videos. A hot poker or a gold knife will do much more for you than those cleaving weapons. Despite the fact they deal huge damage they also tire you a lot, even if you are full fitness AND strength. Don't overrate rare heavy melee weapons, like the medieval axe. However putting furniture on fire spreads a lot of damages around, be careful. Despite in-game claims, fire difficultly spreads amongst zombies. A zombie on fire will nearly never deal damage. ![]() Fire on zombies will hardly deal you damage if you just pass by. So do not care about them when they fight, just avoid trapping into a horde when they follow you and a horde closes onto you (use Shootin then) ![]() Your mates are very good at avoiding damage, much better than you. Always use Shootin when entering dangerously crowded areas and when you need to run from point A to B through a packed horde. Either is only good when your crew is tired and sweating and the threat is above average and closing on you. Always use Smashin instead of the default Either. With Defend your party tends to move backward with your defensive moves. Use Fightin stance when you need to clear an area (privileged most of the time).įightin stance is the only stance which allows your party to efficiently cover a door entrance against a penetrating horde. It is also the main stance for your siege vents, when clearing is not beneficial. Use Defend stance when you need the survivors to move from point A to point B with some crowd killing. Usually used when you do not need to go back. Use Run stance to move from A to B with no need to clear the area whatsoever (semi-rare use). Adapting the AI is THE key to optimize any situation and avoid killing your crew. All those tips & tricks come from personal experience, I hope you will learn by reading them! ![]()
